I'm on a journey I never thought I'd be on. I spent my earliest years trolloping in the garden and watching the grown-ups pickle and can during the summers however I never felt a strong pull in that direction until I moved to Idaho. I came from California, the soft state, and learned more about being soft than I ever had in my life, up here in Idaho.
What I'd personally like to contribute to this blog is just how much I see this lifestyle crossing political and spiritual boundaries. No one should feel alone in their efforts. My husband and I have different reasons for the change in our lifestyle, mine is more a spiritual shift and his political. Both are equally valid and don't have to be discussed each time we take on a new aspect.
This blog, for me, is a safe place for all to discuss the challenges of natural living despite differences in their core belief systems.
